Oregon's Micro-Lite™ narrow kerf chain when used in combination with Micro-Lite™ bars, are developed to meet the specific needs of today’s lightweight chain saws. They require less power from the saw than standard cutting systems, and both feature Lubrilink™ tie straps that help keep oil where it is needed on the chain.
The 0.43 gauge chain is 3/8 pitch and reduces handle vibration and lowers kickback, and the angular shaped chamfer-chisel cutters with twin cutting corners offer outstanding performance along with increased durability, and easier more forgiving maintenance in comparison to round-cornered chains. The chainsaw chains narrow .043” (1.1mm) gauge when used with a Micro-Lite™ bar can reduce the overall wight by as much as 15%. Featuring Lubriwell™ oil holes in all drive links that help carry oil around the full length of the guide bar’s groove, and a top plate witness mark that makes sharpening more accurate and much easier. Recommended for electric saws and gas saws up to 35cc for bars from 12” to 16” (30cm to 40cm).
The 0.50 gauge chain is .325 pitch features Micro-Chisel® cutters with small-radius corners that cut fast and are easier to sharpen. The Vibe-Ban™ chassis design reduces handle vibration by 25%, and the bumper drive links are designed to reduce kickback, for more comfortable working on longer jobs. This chain also features Lubriwell™ oil holes in the bumper drive links, that help carry oil the full length of the guide bar’s groove for more even lubrication. Recommended for saws from 35 to 55cc for bars from 13”to 18” (33 to 45cm).
